Soonish is an app for creating and sharing wishlists. We developed it with privacy as a priority:
- No login or registration required
- No advertising or tracking for marketing purposes
- Minimal data collection
- All data is stored in Germany
- You maintain full control over your data
What data is processed?
- Technical usage data: Anonymized information about app usage (without personal identification)
- Content you create: Your wishlists and entries
- Display name: The name you choose (optional)
- Technical error information: In case of app crashes (anonymized)
What tools do we use?
- Supabase (database, hosted in Germany)
- Stores your wishlists and entries
- No personal data except your chosen display name
- All data can be deleted at any time
- Plausible Analytics (usage analysis, own server in Germany)
- Fully anonymized (no cookies, no IP addresses)
- No creation of user profiles
- Used exclusively to improve the app
- Sentry (error analysis, servers in the EU)
- Captures anonymized error reports during app crashes
- IP addresses are not stored
- No tracking or profiling
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) (push notifications, servers in Germany)
- Enables sending notifications
- Processes device tokens (no personal data)
- Used only for app functionality
Legal Basis
The processing of your data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in providing and improving the app as well as fixing errors.

Data Deletion
You can remove all your data stored in the app at any time using the "Delete all data" function. Alternatively, you can also contact us by email.
Retention Period
We only store your data for as long as necessary to provide the app's functions or as required by legal retention periods. Data that is no longer needed will be deleted.
Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. This includes encrypted data transmission and regular security updates.
Children and Minors
Our app is not specifically directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed. The current version is always available in the app.
